전통장류 제조업체 농업회사법인 담백원(대표 박민정)은 17~20일 나흘간 김대중컨벤션센터에서 열리는 '2024 광주식품대전'에 참가해 한국의 전통장인 한식된장, 고추장, 한식간장, 청국장 등을 선보인다.

신제품으로 소비자들이 한국인들이 쌈에 싸먹을수 있는 쌈장과 각 지역의 특산물을 활용한 제주청귤 고추장 등도 소개한다.

담백원은 깨끗한 물과 국내산 100%의 최고의 원재료로 3년이상 숙성 발효된 제품을 특허받은 발효기술로 만들고 있다. 생청국장은 특유의 냄새 때문에 청국장 먹기를 꺼린 사람들도 사계절 맛있게 먹을 수 있도록 개발한 발효법으로 특허받은 제품이다. 전통 간장은 깨끗하게 잘띄운 질좋은 황금메주와 3년 이상 간수내린 소금으로 만든 감칠맛나는 깔끔하고 담백하다.

전통 농산물과 맑은 물, 천헤의 기후조건을 이용해 자연발효 숙성시킨 담백원의 2전통 프리미엄 고추장과 담백원참 된장도 출품한다.

특히 담백원의 전통장은 광주 무등산 자락의 청정 A급 지역의 청옥동에 자리잡고 있으며, 백년소공인으로서 2대째 이어 전통장류를 생산해 유통하고 있다. 미주와 유럽, 동남아 국가 등에 제품을 꾸준히 수출하고 있으며, 한국의 맛을 알리기 위해 국제식품전시회에도 참가하고 있다.

박민정 대표는 “어머니의 정성을 담아 담백한 맛을 내기 위해 최고 품질의 농산물을 선별, 가공, 유통해 소비자의 건강한 식생활에 기여하고자 한다”며 “최고의 웰빙식품으로 소비자의 식탁을 찾아가고 한국 전통 장류를 해외 시장에도 알릴수 있도록 최일선에서 노력하고 있다”고 말했다.

한편, 호남권 최대 식품박람회인 '2024 광주식품대전'은 '푸드테크, 광주시 미래 신성장 산업 육성'을 주제로 300개사가 참여해 450개 부스에서 지역 농·수산식품, 푸드테크, 음료&디저트, 건강·기능식품, 식품산업 기기 등 다양한 식품군을 선보인다.

올해는 그린 앤 애그리테크(GREEN & Agritech), 주류관광페스타, 국제차문화전시회와 함께 열려 더욱 다양하고 풍성한 전시를 경험할 수 있다.
